The shine results from an optical effect! The secret: in order for the rays of light to reflect on the face, the skin must be as clean and smooth as possible.
Make-up removal in two stages
This is ideal for first eliminating the makeup, and then rid the surface of the skin of pollution, the number one enemy of radiance, along with tobacco and tanning. At first, use a butter or a cleansing oil, then apply a milk or a gel that rinses off with water. It is all the more important to properly purify the skin each evening, as the oxidation phenomena generated by pollution and ultraviolet rays promote the formation of brown spots.
It is the easiest and fastest way to refine skin texture and smooth the epidermis. This is why it is good to frequently activate the natural process of eliminating dead cells, especially as you get older, because it becomes a little lazy: once a week with a scrub, or every day with a peeling lotion. Note that these are used after make-up removal.
Abuse moisturizing masks
Especially those for single use, presented in the form of pre-impregnated sheets, which are very easy to use. We apply them during the shower, every day if we want to, then we wipe off the excess with a paper towel, five or six minutes later. Plumping and smoothing effect guaranteed.
Make a cure of fruit acids
Once a month, opt for a serum concentrated in glycolic acid or BHA (beta hydroxy acid). The effect on the skin and complexion is visible from the third day of use and is maximum after one week. It is applied in the evening after removing make-up, without putting on night cream afterwards. A few tingles? Then use it every other day.
Make your cheeks rosy
Thanks to the “Jacquet” method, still practiced by beauticians, and which consists of making small pinches of the skin between the thumb and index finger. Or using one of these little quartz or jade rollers, which you slide over your face for a few minutes a day. For more effect, it is possible to cool them first in a bowl with a few ice cubes.
Target your makeup
To enhance the shine of face instantly, think of “primers”, these pink or apricot correctors that “soothe” the complexion and make the skin satiny. A little blush? Yes, of course, provided you opt for a more dapper gel or cream texture. As for the lipstick, choose satin or balm texture, but especially avoid the matte finish, because the latter tends to harden the features.
